On March 07th
and 08th/2009, we hosted the
1st Phase of the 2009 Brazilian
Working Equitation Championship.
This event had over 50 teams
competing during the opening
of the season and it was a huge
success! At the Gymkhana, the
Canadian Glenn Stewart was the
winner riding Xeik das Mangueiras
with no bit or reins, just a
halter. The “cowboy”
that gives periodic clinics
of Natural Horsemanship at Haras
das Mangueiras, demonstrated
great ability with the animal
and received many applauses
from the attendees. Check the
