At the election
held in November, 25th/2008,
the Brazilian Lusitano Horse
Association, choosed it’s
new President and Vice President
among 12 elected Counselors,
making the new Council for the
next two years. This election
was the most attended since
the foundation of the Association
in 1975, showing the important
moment lived by the Lusitano
Horse in Brazil, after being
in evidence during the Dressage
Competitions in the Olympic
Games. The winner, Geraldo Roberto
Lefosse Junior, is a lawyer
who breeds Lusitano horses since
the 90’s at Haras das
Mangueiras in the City of Itapira,
State of São Paulo. The
Vice President, Fernando Prado
Ferreira, also a lawyer, is
the principal of Coudelaria
Verde Prado, in the City of
Monte Alegre do Sul, State of
São Paulo.
